It’s that time of the week….our Friday Favorites round-up. I have been trying to balance working all day, caretaking for my sick kiddos and then still mustering up the energy to get some blog posts going. So consider this my apology for my inconsistency over the last couple of weeks. BUT – we are going to improve and get better.
Now on to the favorites for this week, there’s a mixture of recent purchases, reading material and of course fall items.
What Im wearing...
This midi skirt from Amazon is literally the best for fall transition outfits. You can wear it for date night, workwear or dress it down with a graphic tee. Absolutely love it paired with some ankle booties. Be sure to check out my recent blog post talking all about it!
I also ordered this long sleeve scoop neck bodysuit that pairs perfectly with the midi skirt as well as jeans for a casual fall outfit. The material is super stretchy, it doesn’t feel constricting and is a great basic to keep in your closet.
What I've Ordered...
If you follow me on IG (@reneemichellef) you heard me share this on my stories not too long ago! Backstory: When I am getting ready in the morning putting on my makeup, little Iyla LOVES to try and get into my makeup. So I ordered both girls these pretend makeup kits that feel completely real but there is no transfer of product. It was probably one of the best $20 I have ever spent if I’m being honest because now if I’m getting ready, she will go get her little makeup bag and we do our makeup together.
What I'm Reading...
I just finished reading Greenlights by Matthew McConoughay and it’s such a good book. Some of his stories of what he has experienced is crazy and inspiring! Highly recommend using the Libby app if you have a local library card to access their collections of books. If you do not have a library card or a libby account, you can also find it here!
Being that I finished Greenlights, I have now moved onto reading How To Do The Work by Dr. Nicole LePera (@the.holistic.psychologist). I just started it but I am super into it so far. I am always so interested in healing ourselves mentally, physically and spiritually so we can be the best versions of ourselves.
