Over the weekend, we celebrated our big girl Alina’s birthday with a little party in which she invited her friends from school and some family. We had the party at a local Trampoline Park called Cool Springz. This was such a fun venue because there was so much for them to do. Not only were there open space trampolines, there is also a Ninja Obstacle Course, a seperate play area for younger kids, a dodgeball area and so much more. It was definitely a fun time for everyone, but let me also give you all some backstory as to why this the venue that was chosen.
So, around October, Alina’s best friend at school was going to be having a birthday party at the ice rink. We attended the party, but after Alina really started to focus in on her upcoming birthday. We hadn’t had a talk with her about where, when or what we would be doing for her birthday yet because it was still a few months away.
Well, she brought it upon herself to go to school and tell all her friends that she was going to have a birthday party at the trampoline park for her birthday. Now keep in mind, she never even asked us or had a conversation about what she wanted to do. So, my natural reaction was to ask her not be saying anything because we were not sure what we would be doing.
Well, it definitely did not stop her. She continued to rant on about her awesome birthday party that would be happening in January at the trampoline park. By this time I figured she was not going to give it up so I looked up the pricing for a birthday party and bit the bullet to book it.
I also have to add in here that she was not willing to leave any kids out by just inviting a couple…she wanted to invite her entire kindergarten class (20 kiddos).
I felt like I couldn’t really deny her this request because it’s a very thoughtful thing for her to consider others feelings. We had dabbled in possibly inviting just a couple of friends out for a fun day at the trampoline park, but she was very concerned that her other friends would feel left out if she didn’t invite them. So, out of the 20 kiddos she invited from school, we had a cute little party of 10 which I felt was the perfect amount.
Nonetheless, we had a fabulous time. Her main besties showed up and we also had our niece in town to celebrate as well. These two are 9 months apart in their age so they are so close and are inseparable when they are together.
Overall, I am so glad she was able to have such a fun birthday party and I think she will forever remember her 6th birthday party that she had at the trampoline park.
**I didn’t want to share any photos of the other kids due to not having the consent from their parents for sharing – just know they are all so cute and fabulous**
