Here we are once again. I feel like every time I finish an update, I have to start another one. I am a few days late with this update only because I was going through the process of transferring and improving the blog.
The process has finally completed and as you may have noticed, things are looking a bit different around here. SO welcome to the new and improved blog! But that’s not what this post is about, we are celebrating Iyla Noelle turning 9 months so lets get this started!
Daycare. . .
is pretty much a rollercoaster. I have such a hard time some weeks with them and other weeks it’s smooth sailing. There have been a lot of changes at our daycare recently and we are all still trying to adjust to those changes. Iyla will also sometimes do really well while she is there and other times she is a hot mess and not wanting to drink from her bottle..still!
Sleep. . .
is getting fun. She is still co-sleeping with us but she is all over the bed, so it seems like we will be moving her into her crib here soon. My only concern is she is going to be waking up constantly while she is in her crib but lets hope that she is gonna be a trooper. Her new thing is to sleep with her little butt up in the air which I always used to love when Alina slept like that.
Breastfeeding. . .
has been one of her favorite things to do. I’m in awe that I have been able to breastfeed for 9 months with her and I now see the bond that you share with your child while breastfeeding. My end goal is to finish our breastfeeding journey at one year so I’ve been trying to savor our time nursing because it’s coming to an end.
Food Feeding. . .
has been fun. She doesn’t have any teeth just yet. She’s a late teether, so we try to give her safe tastes of a variety of foods. For the most part she seems to really be interested in the different foods that we eat so I don’t think we will have any problems once her teeth come through with table foods. She is also loving her little snacks that melt like the Gerber Blueberry Star snacks which have been her fav thus far.
Mobility. . .
is at an all time high. This girl is all over the place! Her crawl speed is increasing and she has now begun to stand up against furniture and walk along it. She has definitely been the most motivated to get moving compared to Alina. She’s definitely a little mess making Tasmanian that I have to keep a watchful eye on 24/7!
This month has been so fun with Iyla because everyday brings something new to experience with her. She loves when you sing her The Itsy Bitsy Spider and is in love with her ABC singing Elmo!
She has also been waving the cutest wave when you tell her “hi” or “bye”. So we’ve gotten in the habit of trying to get her to wave all the time because it’s the cutest thing ever!
Still loving on her big sister and we cannot be anymore thrilled to experience her first Christmas with her! Here’s to another month down with this sweet little sugar!
