Hello lovelies!
Funny story…I was trying to order some vacuum bags on Amazon and didn’t really think much could go wrong during my ordering process. I honestly didn’t verify the items being ordered because I figured it was the only item in my shopping cart – no big deal. Fast-forward a week later, I got my package in the mail but noticed that it wasn’t as light as I was expecting it to be. Once I got it open, I noticed that I ordered a Dead Sea Mud Mask instead of the vacuum bags hah! Daniel thinks I did that on purpose of course LOL but I honestly thought I ordered the vacuum bags. I don’t ever remember putting that mask in my shopping cart. It may have been in my wish list but who knows. Either way I was excited to get a new product! Win-win for me!
It honestly was like a little blessing surprise package because my skin is going through it lately with all the pregnancy acne and I am in desperate need of some detoxification. The jar it comes in is fairly large, so lots of product to last you a while. When reading the labels, I was shocked to read that if you are experiencing sore joints or aches on your body, you can use this product to help relieve it.
One of the ingredients is activated charcoal which has multiple helpful properties such as aiding in removing toxins from your pores due to its fabulous absorption properties as well as shrinking your pores. On top of this fabulous ingredient, it also contains mud from the dead sea which is rich in minerals and assists in cleansing the skin. The aspect I loved the most about the dead sea mud is that it helps to replenish and renew your skin cells! I have been on a mission for months to get my skin looking right and tight so I won’t have to wear any foundation at all so my skin can be replenished as much as possible!
When you think of dead sea, you can’t help but think that you are going to open a fishy, oceany smelling product. I was pleasantly surprised that the smell of this product is fabulous! It was also extremely easy to apply to the skin. I used a foundation brush to apply the product evenly all over my face. Application went well and I didn’t have too many issues like when I use the Aztec Clay Mask having to get the right consistency. When it was time to remove the mask, I used a washcloth to gently exfoliate it off my skin which was an easy process as well.
After removal, there are times when face masks can make your skin feel slightly dried out. I didn’t feel as if my face was starving for hydration, but it definitely felt cleansed. My skin was smooth and soft ready to apply some moisturizer to top off the treatment.
Overall I believe this product is quite the find. I alone like the smell of it, but if you use it regularly it can be very beneficial to your skin. You can purchase the mask for $13.99 on Amazon which is a fabulous price for the size of the jar! It will last you a while no doubt.
If you guys have any questions about the product just let me know! Comment below, share the post and I will see you for the next post coming soon!
