Oh Em Gee I made it to the end of the week haha! It was a rough one getting back into my early morning routine and going back to work in general! The next three weeks are going to be pure torture for me because I had the brightest idea to register for a late starting upper division summer course…smh. It’s literally a whole semester crammed into 4 weeks!! I have no clue what I was thinking, but I will survive and I’m gonna get a 4.0!! Mama needs A’s to get to that Bachelor’s Degree!! Anywhooo…let’s get to this small list of loves I’ve got for this week.
Evening Walks
We have been taking the time to get outside after dinner when the sun is setting and taking a walk along the trail by our house. We leave our phones behind and just enjoy our time being outside and having a little family time to focus on each other without technology getting in the way. Alina will usually ride her bike and Daniel and I take turns sprinting after her or just race each other. Definitely recommend you all get outside in the evenings when it’s beautiful and the temperature drops so you’re not melting! It definitely help clear my mind and just reset after a long day.
Queer Eye
I have no idea why I didn’t find this show sooner, but I have been binging it when I get some time. I’m only on season 1 but I am seriously hooked! Little background, the Fab Five of gay experts makeover straight men who are a hot mess and need all the help getting their confidence and act together. I love the Fab Five and they do such an awesome job helping out their nominated guests on their show. If you have never seen it, I definitely recommend it – I Love It! Not gonna lie I get a bit teary eyed at the end of the show when these guys are so happy and confident with their new looks! I am such a baby cry haha!! (Whose ready for Orange Is The New Black to come out this month??? GAHH so excited)
Kate Somerville ExfoliKate
I have been testing out the ExfoliKate Exfoliating Treatment to help a few blemishes and clogged pores that are bothering me lately. I was lucky enough to get a good sized sample from one of my patients because she works at Sephora and brings in a bunch of sample products for us to try out. You guys already know I am actively trying to get my skin right so no foundation is ever needed. So far, this is such a gentle exfoliator and I absolutely love it. It has a mild scent to it, but I feel like it does wonders. I have been using it a couple times a week so I can get rid of dead skin cells and dirt that’s been left behind clogging my pores. I’m still testing it out and will probably come up with a blog post once it’s been in use for a while longer. Thus far, it’s fabulous and I am excited to continue using it.
