Hey Everyone! So I am a lover of Target of course – WHO doesn’t?! One evening as I was strolling my way to the registers, I spotted this NEW Dove Body Polish. This is exactly what happens ALL THE TIME!!! So I’m sure everyone is familiar with the Target fever. Daniel is not a fan of the Target fever or Target at all because I have zero self control when I get in there. But back to the story…so I see this body polish and I’m immediately interested because every Fall/Winter my skin just dries up from the dry weather we have in NM and it does not matter how much lotion I slather on, nothing helps. I will try anything as long as it gives me super soft moisturized skin.
This body polish comes in 3 different fragrances: Crushed Macadamia and Rice Milk, Kiwi Seeds and Cool Aloe, and lastly Pomegranate and Shea Butter. So all options sounds fabulously amazing and it took me a second to decide but ended up purchasing the Pomegranate and Shea Butter. Packaging is pink and that may or may not have been the deciding factor!
Shea Butter is an amazing ingredient to help keep our skin moisturized and soft. Oh and did I forget to mention that this polish only costs $5.99?! Seriously such a steal for something like this and it’s 10.5 oz so it’s bound to last a bit. Recommendation on the packaging is to use a heaping scoop of the polish PRIOR to washing with your normal body wash and to use up to 3-4 times per week. This product has little beads in it that help exfoliate all the dead skin off your body and leaving you with brand new healthy skin.
After testing this product out for a few weeks, I can definitely say I am in love. My skin seriously feels AMAZING after every use! I was so happy with the results I had to tell my sister about it, tell Daniel about it like 20 times and now I need to tell you guys about it!! I will definitely be going back to Target for the rest of the fragrances to try out and so I can keep me a stocked stash. I highly recommend this product and love all Dove products so be sure to check it out and please let me know your thoughts!
Has anyone else tried this product as well? What are your thoughts about it?! Until next time…
xoxo Renee

I know exactly what you’re talking about the dry winter weather in NM, being that I live further north at an elevation of 6,969 ‘ and no moisture around. I’ve never tried Dove but will definitely have to. The one body scrub that I have tried out is Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy Lavender Vanilla Sugar Scrub and also find it very moisturizing. I find it best to use after I wash so the moisturizer stays on the skin.
I love your posts and enjoy reading them. Look forward to more.
